Hey Guata’s Top 5 Moments of 2008

Its been a good year errrbody, so here are my top 5 moment of 2008!

#5. DRUNK PERSON THEATER: After a HARD night of partying, my roommates and I decide to go to eat at Chipotle. When we arrived it’s still too early for it to be open. So while we wait Adam, still drunk, decides to start the most personal conversation with a random bus driver. Here we attempt to recreate the magic this moment was

#4 JAPANESE HEY GUATA: This one involves my sleepaholic roommate Adam again. Just watch the video and wait till the end. I’m so glad this impromptu moment was caught on tape.

#3 TIE: FINDING OUT I WAS GOING TO MEET OLIVIA MUNN/TALKING ON THE PHONE WITH HER

So I get a call from my producer telling me to sit down…and then I blacked out. The scream of joy was so loud my roommates both came out of the house cuz they thought I had been run over on the street. Here is a picture courtesy of Blogullivan just minutes after I found out.

Then the infamous call where I ran out of a classroom for Olivia. So glad my co-host didn’t pick up her phone cuz Olivia called her first.

#2 NIGHTCAP FINALE EPISODE: OLIVIA MUNN I bet you thought this was my top moment of 2008. But after giving it a lot of thought I knew it wasn’t. It really was the capstone of my year, and I give a million thanks to Olivia for being so nice. I was truly blessed, it was an amazing show. From repelling down from the ceiling, to my awkward pie or pop segment. I’m sad to see co-host and friend Cori leave though, she was awesome on the show and I can’t wait to hear about all the great things that she’ll do in the future. But now here is our interview with O-Munn.

Hey Guata: Live From Guatemala Part Dos

One of the good things about being home is spending time with the family. So , meet my dad! He grows his own coffee…and mustache.

Just thought I’d also pull up an old Munn video from when she want back home. We don’t have half-away pools in Guatemala…but we do have third-world coffee. HURRAY!

So that’s where I got SHUT UP from…haha

TODAY DEC. 17th 2008 = DEADLINE FOR MEETiNG OLIVIA MUNN AND BEING QUASI-FAMOUS

Today was supposed to be the deadline for getting quasi-famous enough in order meet Olivia Munn. I have decide I met both those goals. Here is why:

1. I fucking met Olivia Munn.
2. I met her on TV while Hosting “Nightcap”.
3. Combining my Interview, Olivia’s Nightcap Journey video, and my blog I’ve been exposed to over 15,000 people online. (that’s not counting Nightcap viewers.)
4. I have inspired a “frienemy YouTube channel” named Hey Dominica, about a fellow AOTS fan who wants to hang out with Kevin Pereira (Olivia’s Co-Host)
5. I did it all without getting a restraining order.

I think this qualifies as quasi-famous in my book.

Hey Guata: Life After Munn Teaser

One of the great things about going on my quest to meet Olivia Munn was that I got to do so many new things along the way. A lot of doors opened and some really awesome people payed attention. Nightcap resumes in the Spring and I can’t wait to do bigger and better things on it. Olivia really inspired me to go BIG or GO HOME. I’ve got some other great things in the works too, and some I can’t even talk about yet, but I want you guys to be a part of it! So follow my blog, youtube channel or twitter to be the first to know.
